Nannie Helen Burroughs
Nannie Helen Burroughs was an educator, orator, religious leader, Civil Rights activist, feminist, and businesswoman. She founded the National Training Schools for Women and Girls in 1900, in Washington, D.C. Through her organization she fought for equal rights and opportunities for women.
