Earl Allen (Reverend)
Pastor, Dr. Earl Allen was active in the Civil Rights Movement and was the founder of Miracle Land Church, and the CEO of Miracle Publications International, Inc. Some of his achievements were, being a consultant at Windsor Village United Methodist Church; he founded of the Hope Development organization in Houston and Dallas, Texas, an organization founded to help the Black community organize to achieve Human, Organizational, Political and Economic equality. Pastor Allen was also involved in sit-ins at Weingarten’s in Houston, the Black Sunday Boycott in Houston, drugstore and cafeteria demonstrations in Dallas. Pastor Allen is also an author and patent holder. He was also pastor of Highland Hills Methodist Church in Dallas, and served as the regional director for the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE).
